I am in CMPC!!!

Postie delivered my mag this morning and I am in it!!!! The feature is the card you are most proud of..........awful pic of me tho!lol It is really weird seeing me in a mag!!

Yeah i am sooo chuffed..... I have won the bookmark challenge over at Bee Crafty!! This is the first time I have ever won a challenge...I was jumping about when I saw!lol

Passion For Promarkers #18

Firstly I apologise for the pics, its an awful day here today and I just couldn't get a good photo! The challenge was to make anything but a card......and also the colours Marine and Emerald, so here is my little box!. And just in time through the letter box came my wee parcel from Tabby Crafts with these lovely flowers and yummy new papers!! The magnolia image is one I received from the lovely Lou in an image swap.

Die Cut Dreams Challenge

Perfect opportunity to make a mans card over at Die Cut Dreams.........don't know about anyone else but I find it a bit tricky doing male cards. I am going to make sure I look for plenty male themed stuff when I go to the SECC next month!

I have messed up the papers with a stamp and stamped some tools and added a wee bit of string, the sentiment I printed off on the computer.

A Baby Card

This is a quick card I made this morning for a new baby boy....I love this little giraffe stamp!

And this is what I spent most of last night doing!! How sad am I!! I was fed up raking through my tub looking for colours so I punched out loads of tiny dots with my hole punch and stuck them on the ends of my PMs and then coloured them in...........

I also finished off my entry for the Passion for Promarker challenge but it is too dark now to take a pic so will post it up tomorrow.

Colour Create Challenge

This is my entry for the Colour Create Challenge, Neon Green and Black and the option to add leaves and charms. I had the little leaves but no charms (a little shopping trip I think!)

The black spotty paper is bazzill and the other paper is from my stash I don't know the make.

The image is from a kids colouring site and I have coloured with my PMs lime green and black.

Ribbons and brads from stash and I printed off the sentiment on the computer.

Just a quick little post just now...maybe be on later, Jude has Rainbows and Lucy has Brownies so I am in and out all night!lol

Sugar Bowl Challenge

Thought I would have a go at the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl, which is Pink and Brown with a sketch to follow which I always love!

I have used my lovely new Manga girl and coloured her with my PMs....ivory,blush,dusky pink,rose pink, blossom, cinnamon,cocoa,burnt umber and cool grey 1 & 2.

The papers, flowers and jelly tots are all from my stash and I used a sakura pen to doodle some dots.

Okay I promise to stop messing about with my blog........I decided to go for a change but couldn't make up my mind so I have been trying different ones out....settled with this for now LOL!

Passion for Promarkers #17 Any colour & Polka Dots

Here is my card for challenge number 17! Any colour and Polka Dots! I am gonna try and make any challenge entries I do from now on Christmas ones where possible as it is not long now!!This is the first time I have used this stamp..I thought she would fit in quite well for a Christmas card. The paper is Doodlebug and I have stuck some little snowflake stickers on the big spotty paper. The little Merry Christmas sign I made with a stamp and some shrink plastic and the ribbon and snowflake are from my stash.

Here is a close up of Maggie and below are the colours I used to colour her.

Anyway I am away off to put all my ironing away... I was a good girl and got it all done this afternoon when I got home from work....but I hate putting it away!lol!

Bee Crafty Challenge 13 Bookmarks

This is my entry for the challenge over at the Bee Crafty Blog, which is to make a bookmark. They gave away the stack of books as a freebie to use if you wished...I teamed it up with one of my fave Gorjuss Girls and coloured them both with Promarkers.

This is not card related but it has been such a gorgeous day here today, I just had to take a piccy of the only flowers left in the garden! Livingston Daisies which are my fave and I actually managed to grow from seed! I can remember when I was a little girl a house along from my great Aunt had hundreds of these!

Two More Crimbo Cards

Hello peeps

I seem to be getting into the Christmas Spirit at the moment and I have made another couple of cards this afternoon. This is my new stamp from Funkykits....it's one of the fundraiser stamps for It's A Girl Thing, coloured with Pms and some Sakura glitter pen for her wings. I have used the sketch from the Sketch Saturday Challenge blog.
This one I have tried to go for an icy feel....the idea came to me when I was lying in bed this morning lol Here is a close up I have just used a hint of Pastel Blue and used the blender pen.

Die Cut Dreams Challenge

This is my entry for the challenge over at Die cut Dreams which the theme is Chocolate Orange(MMMMMmmm one of my fave choccies!)

I think I am finally managing to master hair colouring although I still haven't mastered black hair yet!

I have had this swirly brown paper for a while I think it is doodlebug, flowers from stash and coloured with pms and the little diecut leaves are a recent purchase from ebay.

Weather here is fab today it seems to have been raining here forever!, we had a fun run at the school this morning to raise some funds and then this afternoon I got some clearing up done in the garden, two loads of washing done and out to dry just gotta iron most of it now:0( .....tomorrow maybe think I need an evening in my cubby tonight I have just received two lovely new stamps from Funkykits, a manga girl I have been after for a while and also one of the fundraiser stamps... they are just crying out to be inked up!lol

Passion for Promarkers #16 My first Crimbo Card!!

This is my entry for PfP #16 Sandstone and Blue Pearl... I decided that I would have a go at Christmas card.......my first one this year!

The image is a from a set of stamps that came free with Cardmaking and Papercraft Mag, which I have coloured with the required PMs and I have added a little bit of glitter to his pompom.

The paper is from my stash and as I didn't have any patterned paper that was a good match I have just stamped and embossed some little snowflakes.

The snowflake ribbon I have had since last Christmas and never used, it is holographic on one side but I prefer the plain side.

I quite enjoyed making this Christmas card so I think I will get cracking and start making some more!!

Hubby is watching the cycling (yawn Sean Kelly the commentator sends me to sleep)so think I will head up to bed and read my book!

A Card!!

At last I have made a card...starting to feel a little bit normal again!

This was a bit of a rush card I was asked to make for a workmate...his son really likes Liverpool FC so I found the badge on the net and then made the backing paper (printer started playing up again!), the image is from Digistamp Boutique and the sentiment I printed from the computer

Jude had her first day at Rainbows last night and she loved it and she has her first swimming lesson on Thursday....so she is gonna be a busy girl!

Can Anyone help me Choose a Printer?

Hey there

I need some help please......the printer we have is really old and I think I need to invest in a new one but I know nothing about printers...Inkjet or Laserjet????I know I want a top loading one cos the one we have loads from the bottom and quite often my card doesn't come out properly and it all prints weird, which drives me mad!

Wanted to know what you guys out in blogland all use to see if that can help me come to a decision. I mainly use the printer for my digi images and printing off sentiments and occasionally printing patterned papers.

Any advice would be gratefully received :0)

Hey all!

No cards from me for the last few days as I am feeling way too poorly to sit in my cubby hole.....I am loaded with the cold and my head doesn't feel like it is attached to my body..if that makes any sense! I have been cheering myself up by checking out everyone's lovely cards though and I am going to book my ticket for the craft show at the SECC in October, we are going to see Michael McIntyre the same weekend so I am really looking forward to it!

Gonna curl up on the sofa with a nice glass of wine and watch the Big Brother Final!

a quick little post while I am watching BB, sooo funny last night when they called Charlie in nominate!
Anyway these are a couple of things I did last night.... a baby boy card that I was asked to make and I have a little notebook that I scribble the details of some of the cards that I make so just thought I would jazz it up a bit! Tomorrow I need to tidy up my cubby, its got into a bit of a mess!

Passion for Promarkers Number 15

Here is my card for challenge number 15 over at PFP this week......Girly and Glittery!
I think I will need to check out the camera instructions as I can't figure out how to get close up pics......can't really make out all my glittery bits!

Paper- Sandylion, the glitter card I have had for ages I salvaged it from a birthday card

Charm- I made this myself with a stamp and some shrink plastic!

I haven't added any sentiment yet.... think I will keep it in my box for one of the girls to give if they get any party invites!

This was my last square base card, so I will have to get on the phone to Craftology to order some more.....unless I can persuade Hubby that we need a wee trip down to Glasgow heehee
