This card is for my Mum to send to my Uncle....Mens cards...argh....I have a few to make this month so I had better pull my finger out! I have to say tho I am pretty pleased with this one cos I love the papers and image. The image is a Digistamp Boutique one...I have used this one a lot for my mens cards! Paper is Fancypants Designs which I have distressed the edges of and the little brad type things are actually little things that were decorating the back pockets of a pair of my jeans and all fell off when I washed them!

I am off now to work on my card for the Passion for Promarkers challenge this week....struggling with it tho, I have the image all coloured but I have hit a wall with the rest of the card.....I don't have any papers to match the colours so I need to come up with something.

Back later bye for now!

OMG!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!!!

This box arrived for me today.....check out what was in it........................

OMG!!!!!!!!!!..................This is the candy I won over on Jacqui's blog ( the most gorgeous shop ever Simply Create in Alford). Thankfully I was alone in the house when it arrived as I would have gotten some strange looks from Hubby as I was jumping about the living room like a kid at Christmas time! I cannot believe how generous Jacqui has been there are soooo many lovely things!

I am gonna have so much fun playing with all this stuff....the weather is really bad here today and lots of the High School teachers have been snowed in and cannot get to work...so the canteen is closed today....No work Woohooo!!!! We have a severe weather warning till tomorrow so fingers crossed I might get tomorrow off too!!!!!!!!!

Quickie Crimbo Card............

Was playing with my Promarkers the other day colouring in this gorgeous Sugar Nellie...and thought she would suit being a Christmas card! That's another one for the box!

Passion for Promarkers #39

This is my card for this weeks challenge at PFP which is to use buttons and bows.........I only have one bow ...hope it still counts!
The paper is a double sided one from Junkitz I think it was a small piece I had left from a 12x12 sheet.....need to try and find some more cos I love it!

The image is coloured with Turquoise, Meadow green, Mulberry and Pumpkin and some stickles for her wings.I have distressed and inked the all the edges and used one of my grunge stamps around the edge of the image. The flowers are white ones from my stash and have been coloured with the Turquoise PM...the ribbon was also white and has been coloured with a Promarker. The sentiment is from a stamp set that I bought a while ago.

Oh and my ticket arrived today for the Hobbycraft show at the SECC next month...I am going on Sunday...anyone else going?

Thanks for looking!

Trying something new!

Here is my first ever easel card....and my first attempt at trying the cracked glass effect! I am quite pleased with the result..........and how easy the easel card was to do! You will probably see them a lot here now!! I just need to use slightly thicker card for my cracked glass next time...this was a bit too thin.
I have made this for my Mum for Mothers Day.......I always get asked to make Mothers Day cards and then end up making one for my own Mum at the last minute........so I have done hers first!
I am entering this in this months challenge over at ABC Challenge Tutorial Blog...which is to use the cracked glass effect.

The papers are MME I think and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash....sentiment was a freebie stamp from a magazine and of course the lovely Sugar Nellie Stamp!

I don't believe it!!!!!!!!!

Well what do you know....that image I was searching for last night(see previous post for full blown rant!) suddenly appeared on the floor of my cupboard this morning...It was most definatlely NOT there last night!! Anyway this is my entry for PFP this week with is a theme of "all creatures great and small"...so I have literally gone for the "small"and used this cute little teddy! I love the paper...can't remember the name of it though...got it at Simply Create when I was over that way visiting my sister. I made a lollipop flower and added a button to the centre...some doodling and some stickles.
I haven't put the sentiment on yet as I have still to print it off on the computer and I wanted to get the pic taken this morning while the light was still good.....it is for Judes little pal who will be 6 on Thursday.

Argh.... does this ever happen to anyone else?.......

.............I had a card sitting on the side in my cubbyhole just waiting to be put together....image all coloured ready for the challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and when I went to get it finished this evening the image has disappeared!!!
I have practically ripped my cupboard apart looking for it and nothing!!!!So now I am gonna have to colour one all again!
I suppose that teaches me for having too many cards going at the same time...I should just finish one before starting another!
Anyway thats my rant over...thanks for letting lme let off steam...hubby just didn't get it!lol

Swapsies anyone??!!

Edit I got a taker for this little chap! thanks for looking! I have this stamp that I have only used the once and it has been sitting all lonely in my box....I would love to swap it for some stamped Tilda images if anyone would like it?
I will go with the first person to get back to me?

Gorjuss Girl!

I have had this paper for absolutely ages...so I made myself use it to make a card the other day!
This is one of my new Gorjuss Girls that I bought in the Funkykit sale coloured with PMs (Crimson/Cardinal Red/Cornflower/Cocoa/Henna/Umber/Spice and Cool Grey 4 for shading)

I have gold embossed around the edges of the papers...added some..is it Rafia string that you call it? some buttons and the heart is torn from a border strip that was in with an order I received from Tracy at Dies to Die for.

Hope you like.... I am trying to get the hang of the darker colours as I have been avoiding them!lol

The papers are from a pad I got in the sales and the image is Kerry Jo.......and I have used loads of stickles.
Thanks for looking!
