Wine bottle

Had a go at making a wine bottle thingy...do you call it a label or a tag? Not anything too fancy for my first attempt.....if you wanna see a fab bottle go here to Jane's blog her bottles are beautiful!

Didn't do much today just lazed about with the girls, weather is not that great here today, so we didn't venture far. I hope the whole of the hols are not like this!!:(

Cool Blue

Another quick little card today!This is for my Mum to send to my Aunt......the paper and ribbon is actually wrapping paper set.......... I thought it was way too nice to use as wrapping paper!Sentiment is printed from the computer and that is it! Short and sweet!

Quick Card today!

Hello everyone on this gorgeous day!

Just a quick card today, yesterdays card was for my next door neighbour who has had a baby girl, thought it would be nice to make a card to give to babies big sister so she didn't feel left out.....love this little Gorjuss Girl and it looks just like her.....very simple card just some more of the paper from yesterday and I printed the sentiment of on the computer then chalked the edges of the circle. I am off on a little blog hop now to see what other good challenge blogs are out there to keep me busy during the holidays.............if anyone knows of good ones let me know thanks!

Papertake Weekly Challenge

This is my entry for the sketch challenge over at Papertake Weekly Challenge the picture isn't great as it is getting a bit dark but I wanted to get it on tonight before I forget!

The flowery paper is from BoBunny Back to Backs and some plain paper from my Dovecraft stash......Penny Black image is coloured with promarkers- Pastel Pink & Pastel Green........and some ribbon from my stash. I have used the leftovers to decorate the inside.( sorry I am not very good at detailing how I have made my cards...promise to try and do better!lol)

Of now to go and get cleared up before BB starts, much to Hubbies annoyance!lol

Promarker Challenge #6

Think I have saved my entry for the challenge over at PFP this week(check out yesterdays post!) I found this little cake stamp..........I think it has worked out okay!(thanks Pinky!)

Doh! Stupid me!!

This is the card I started for the PFP challenge this week, The colours are Moss and Poppy.....but stupid me just started it without checking out the blog and when I did look you had to add something tasty..didn't have anything that I could add to this, so will give it a miss this week and just make sure I check first before I start making!! The image is a Kerry Steptoe one, coloured with Moss and Poppy, Sandstone and Cinnamon for the hair, Ivory and Blush for the skin and Pastel beige for the top.

The papers I have stamped little stars onto with versamark ink and I have also cut the little buttons from scrap paper.

Today was my last day of work for the summer holidays WOOOHOOOO!!! I don't know whether it was a sign or not but when the bell went at 12 the heavens opened and we had thunder!! That better not be how the hols are gonna be! Anyway I made a start cleaning out my cubbie hole so won't have as much to do tomorrow if the sun comes back....it is still soooo hot tho!

Phew..... Finally Finished Teacher Cards!

I finally finished the cards for Judes nursery teachers this morning cut it a bit fine as this afternoon was her last day! I used my new GG stamp that I bought when I visited the Sugar shop in Elgin at the weekend! I have used mostly leftover bits from my scrap box and printed the sentiment onto plain white card and chalked the edges.(spent sunday cutting out different sized circles of acetate to use as templates.. I am sad!)These are the 3 retirement cards I was asked to do...one with a minibus of all things!Never really know what to do on retirement cards, so I just kept them quite simple.

MMMmmm still not sure about the minibus....just not my thing,but the customer was happy with it!

Well tomorrow is the last day of school woo hoo I get 6 weeks off !! The first thing I am doing on Friday is clearing out my cupboard it is a tip. I have had so many cards to make lately that I have just been leaving stuff lying about and not putting it away, gonna get it all sorted out and tidied up......and it will stay like that!!!! I promise;)
