Butterfly...............

Today I have been inspired by this video.......but I do not have any word dies....can you believe that!!! Maybe Santa could sort me out with some!
So I thought I would try it with this beautiful butterfly die from Marianne designs...for my DTDF post......which doesn't quite work the same as a text die but I like how it has turned out

Test Tube holder.....

OOOOoooooo I got to have a play with the Taylored Expressions Test Tube Caddy yesterday for my DTDF post.......I love it!!
So easy to use and put together.....I used one to hold one of the test tubes I had made for my Craft Fair...the tube is quite fussy so I kept the holder pretty simple....yummy Christmas papers from Imaginisce.....the next one I have plans for a bit more decoration!

Some people are worth melting for.....

So I don't know if anyone else is like me.......Pinterest Boards full of ideas and inspiration but never actually doing anything?
Time for that to change for me and I have been going through my boards and trying out some different crafts, recipes and more.........I have seen many versions of the melted snowman bauble and what with the Frozen phenomenon.....yes I admit to being a fan too!......I thought I would have a go at making some...
I had some red felt which I cut into thin strips and then snipped the very tips of each end to make the teeny scarf, then folded over and put a wee stitch to hold it....peppercorns for stones and this one has brown card for the arms but I have since gone out into the garden and snipped one of my bushes to get proper little snowman twig arms!....last but not least a wee piece of orange card rolled up for his nose.....Oh and the snow is salt!
I then made some wee tags with Olafs beautiful quote and attached to the bauble with a wee bell and some lovely ribbon!

I hope you like!
Will be back tomorrow to share some more makes for my Craft Fair!

Merry Christmas...

Hopping on quickly to share my make for today over at DTDF
I am limiting myself to browsing online at the mo as I frantically finish all my makes for my Craft Fair on Saturday!
I saw this technique either in blogland or Pinterest....(I spend far too much time on both!!).....and have been itching to try it out...for a first attempt I am pretty pleased with it and it doesn't take long at all!
First I covered my cardstock with Faded Jeans DI, then I dabbed white ink over the stencil ( I used Memory Boxes Bubbles
The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Little Bits of Christmas Stamp set....which I have fallen in love with and has been added to my ever increasing wishlist! And of course a little bit of Stickles to finish off!!
will be back soon to share some of the things I have made!

Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?....

I have been after a set of Build a Snowman stamps for a while now and managed to find these on Ebay

with the intention of making some little sweets that I had seen on Pinterest for my craft fair....the Christmas Puddings I did last year were far too fiddly and took ages... and now that they are made I wanted to put the stamps to some other use too.........

I always like to make some packs of wee 4x4 cards too as they always sell well at the fair and last night was messing about and came up with this little card....I love it and after sharing a peek last night on my Facebook page it seems a lot of other people do too! So I will be spending today making as many as I can!

Have a lovely Sunday!

Snowflakes....

Oh I am so late today with my Dies to Die For post.......I had a pretty stressful week last week for reasons that I won't bore you all with but cardmaking was waaayyyy down the list.  So it was a quick aarrgghh I need a card for my post.......this took probably not even half an hour to make....great for if you need to make a card in a hurry!
I have used 2 colours of Distress Ink to make the background and then these gorgeous Marianne Design Snowflake dies...really wishing now that I had cut them from sparkly card instead of plain....next time!
And a few wee sequins in the centre of the snowflakes for some sparkle!

You getting fed up seeing Christmas cards yet?! I have used the very festive Candy Canes from LDRS's Saturated Canary range...coloured once again with my black and grey pencils with just a tiny hint of red.......I am loving colouring like this at the mo as I can grab any papers at all to match!
These gorgeous papers are from MME's Mistletoe Magic range and I have inked and distressed all the edges.....the candy canes are from Hobbycraft....and the wee bit of tulle is leftover from my mini festive wreaths I have been making for my craft fair..

Song...........

I am loving just using a Black and Grey pencil to colour my images just now! I spend way too long deciding on papers and what colours to use, sometimes I loose the mojo to make a card once I am done! But coloured this way they go with almost any paper!
This is the lovely Song and I have coloured the no lines version and I have to say I love her like this....she is like a wee sketch drawing in a book.....I have only used one sheet of the lovely 6x6 pad of MMEs Record It range...I may add some embellishments but I kinda like it how it is......

They are BoBunny Isabella....the tiny details on the papers are so beautiful, I don't know if you can make out in the pic below the wee cluster of butterflies in the corner......just gorgeous....can you tell I love papers!

Saturated Canary FB Challenge.....

Yay! Time for a new challenge over on our Facebook group and we want to see your ATCs .....Artist Trading Cards, cute little 21/2 x 31/2 cards
I have gone all Zombie themed for my set of three..Krista has a fab selection of Zombies in the shop which you can find here.....can you tell she loves Walking Dead?
I have coloured them all with the same colours and have tried to give them the dead zombie eyed look, I added some Glossy Accents to the zombie eye and also on the lips to try to give that just eaten someone look!lol...... and then used my watercolour pencils for the background and some Walnut Stain DI around the edges.....then came the scary bit when I decided I would splatter them with blood......well red paint.....I was so scared I was going to ruin them after spending soooo long colouring them up!

I really hope you like them, I have loved making these and have definitely got the ATC bug now!
