Just when I start to relax......

I will share a card with you first before I tell you of Judes further adventures!!
This gorgeous image is from A Day for Daisies...I have used thick embossing powder all over and then popped it in the freezer for 10 mins then wiggled it all over to crack it...love this technique!

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse with Jude breaking her arm a few weeks ago...I got a call from the school on Monday to say that her nose had started bleeding out of the blue and they were rather worried as it wouldn't stop so could I meet them at A&E as they were going to rush her round (it's only a few minutes from the school) nearly an hour later and it finally stopped!!  All she was worried about was getting blood all over her wee pals top that she had borrowed for their Olympics day!  The hospital had no explanation as to why it might have happened, she hadn't banged it or anything, just thought it was runny nose....so she has been feeling a wee bit rubbish for the last couple of days...and it was her birthday yesterday too...my poor wee baby!

What do you think of the lovely peg they fashioned for her!!?

Thanks for popping in!

Re-Organising the Cupboard......

Okay so I have been having some storage issues in the old cupboard....things have been starting to spill out into the living room......so I purchased this over the door bathroom storage thing from Argos.....the door did have ribbons all along it but I have condensed them onto just a few hooks to fit the unit in...now I have loads of extra space (I am sure I will fill it up soon!) and the cupboard has been given a right good tidy up! I am feeling loads more creative now I have sorted it all out....things were starting to get on top of me and my mojo was starting to disappear!

I will leave you with a couple of recent Wedding cards.......

I have entered these cards in this weeks challenge over at Tiddly Inks which is flowers!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Smash*ing Sunday

Well i must start off by saying that the weather certainly isn't smashing here...it's blowing a gale and pouring down...yesterday the sun was shining...I don't know what is going on with the weather just now!!
Anyway I feel like I am getting back on track now...what with all the birthdays (Hubby's, my 40th, my Mums, Lucy's yesterday and Judes in a couple of weeks) and our adventures with Jude breaking her arm and dislocating her elbow...cartwheeling at school playtime!! We are finally get back into a bit of a routine again lol
I bought my first Smash* book with some of my birthday money and I figured what better page to start with than my birthday!!
The first page has a pic of all my fab pressies.....I copied the sentiment from one of my cards...that little cupcake brad has been kicking about in my stash for ages and the little date stamp I bought in our local office supplies....
My birthday was on the Wednesday and I decided to have a wee party on the following Saturday and it was on the Friday that I got the phone call from the school to say that Jude had hurt her arm and I had better come and collect her to take her to A&E....got her to the local hospital where they x-rayed her and then decided that she would have to go up to the bigger hospital in Inverness 65 miles away as she had dislocated her radius bone and may need an operation! Freaked out mummy dashing around grabbing stuff to chuck in a bag and off we headed....the result being that we were only discharged a few hours before my party the next day ...and when I mentioned cancelling it THAT was the only time she cryed and got hysterical!! So we pushed the time back a bit it all went okay in the end...but at it was all such a rush and we were just so happy to be home that there were hardly any photos taken......this one of me and my BFF was taken at the end of the evening as they were getting ready to head off!  The Fabulous at 40 is one of my birthday cards and I cut the Polaroid shape out myself....I really need to get myself some Smash* goodies!!
I have waffled enough now thanks for staying til the end!!lol

I will leave you with a pic of my brave wee girl and her "stookie" which is what we call a cast in Scotland!!
I am linking this post up to Kellies Smash*ing Sunday blogpost.... hop over and see all the fab Smash* pages

Saturated Canary #17

Here we go with Challenge Number 17 at Saturated Canary Challenges and this fortnight it is

“ May Flowers”
The usual rules apply you must use either a Saturated Canary Digi Stamp OR a Simply Sassy Rubber Stamp
please excuse the terrible photos.....I only finished it late last night! tut tut
I had coloured the cute "Sketchie" at the weekend with my Promarkers and as I was just messing about with colours I didn't keep note of the ones I used...but I loved how it came out so wanted to use it on my card!
Kristas Etsy store is empty now as the NEW website should be opening very soon!! Cannot wait to see it!!

Now I also have a confession to make....I have been a wee bit naughty and bought some new 12x12 papers when I  said I wasn't going to until I had used up some of my huge stash...but I could not resist this gorgeous butterfly paper from Papermania....it was only a couple of sheets!

The flowers I have had in my box for ages and the lovely green pearls were from my shopping trip to the Craft show at the SECC back in March.

I hope you like and please get yourself over to the Challenge blog...there are some STUNNING cards to look at!!
