Another Post??

Wow nothing from me in a while and then you get two posts in one day!  Ido have a lot of cards to show you!

This card was for one of the girls from work...the party was at the weekend and a fab time was had by all...felt a wee bit rough the next day though!

Gorjuss Girl....

I do love these die cut Gorjuss girls....fab for getting a quick card done!

There is that lovely seam binding again...I am getting low so will need to place an order soon over at The Ribbon Girl! This gorgeous backing paper came with the sheet of diecuts (think I might order some more of these too!) I have added some glitter to the numbers and a little sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

I have another 5 cards to get finished then hopefully I can have a play with my new stamps that have been sitting uninked for a couple of weeks now!

Teddy Bo......

I have totally fallen in love with Teddy Bo!! I made this one for my pals birthday the other day so I can safely post it up now!

I coloured the image with my pencils...still trying to get the knack of them! The papers are all from my scrap box...sentiment from Craftwork Cards!

Must go, the post its are all along my shelf need to get cracking!

Retirement Card..

I love these Basic Grey papers...not much else to this card really...just the sentiment and some flowers!!

Got a few more card orders...so I know what I will be up to at the weekend!  Hopefully might get a few challenge cards done!

We have got some munchies in and the four of us are gonna veg on the couch and watch Comic Relief.  I am wearing Judes doodleboppers or whatever you call them as we speak!

Flower fairy

I have come to the conclusion that the only type of decoupage I like is the diecut kind...this was way to fiddly to cut out!!  Not that I decoupage much, but I thought this image was nice for the card.  I have added some lace and a doily and those numbers again...maybe I could ask for a number set for my Bigshot for my Birthday? (even though we have already agreed that as both our birthdays fall in April our weekend away to see Peter Kay would be our birthdays??)

WOYWW 93

Well I have had a look back and the last time I joined in WOYWW was week 78...that's shocking  forgive me Julia!! I think mainly because I felt quite guilty that I wasn't managing  to get round everyone to say hi...can't even promise that I will manage it today...but I will reply to any comments I get!

Mmmmm whats going on on my desk today...my glut of eighteenth birthday card orders has gone...which gave me some pennies to spend at the SECC which was nice! I have two orders to work on...hence the sticky post its on my shelf...at one point they were all the way along!

I have cheated a bit and am using one of the precoloured digi stamps from Teddy Bo...if you haven't seen them then get yourself over there they are gorgeous!!

Little update on  Bella and Coco...our rescued piggies, they are settling in nicely...still a bit timid but a bit happier being held now.  They both go mad for parsley...it's all but gone before I even hit the button on the camera!  They come out wheeking when the girls come home from school which they think is great! Oh and we also had a bird of prey (think it might have been a sparrowhawk, not very clued up on my birds) come flying at the conservatory window trying to get in at them...which was a bit scary!!

Less is More week 6

Let me take you back to the start of the year...remember when I said I wanted to take part in more challenges?  So far I have only managed two!!

So today I put aside my card orders and have made a card to enter over at the Less is More Challenge blog.......I am quite into the CAS style at the moment.

This is also going to be part of my DT samples for Simply Create as the leaf stamp that I have used is from my kit for this month.

So glad we didn't head off to Glasgow now, it's starting to get quite thick now!

Last one for now..

Here is the last of the eighteenth cards for now...using a Gorjuss Girl.....I just got a whole load more from Crafty Emma's store...they were all reduced to 99p!  They were the pyramid decoupage which I won't do but can use some of the images on their own.

We have decided not to head down to Glasgow today, my Aunt phoned us this morning to say that it was snowing quite heavy there and it has started here too, so we don't want to end up getting stuck like we did last time...7 hours it took us to get home instead of the usual 2 1/2 hours!  Jude is gutted cos she does love a party, but we are going to have a little party here with some munchies and movies to make up for it!

More More More...

Another two eighteenth cards....you getting bored of them yet?.....I think I only have one left to show you!

Now I feel I may have cheated a bit with these cards as I didn't colour any of the images!....but I did make the pins...does that make up for it?

Got some more orders to get finished tonight...we are off to Glasgow for the weekend for my Aunt and Uncles 50th Wedding anniversary party......will show you the cards I made for them when I get home!

Flowery Eighteenth..

Another eighteenth!! Sorry don't know the make of the papers...I seem to have cut that bit off.

All the circles have been cut by hand...but now I have the Fiskars template for cutting my circles (bought at the SECC!)!Woohoo! no more wonky circles!  Some glittered numbers and some faux stitching and it's job done!

Will be back later with some more eighteenths!

Ribbet!!

Very Clean and simple card today...I quite like doing these.

This cute little froggy is from Stamping Bella and I have coloured it with my Koh-i-noor pencils, then added a little birthday sentiment.

Hiding in my cupboard today....the weather here is awful...strong winds and heavy rain!  Snow forecast for tomorrow which I would rather....I hate the rain!

Forever Rose....

Yet another 18th card...this time I used this gorgeous Forever Rose digi image from Crafts and Me...isn't she lovely with all that hair...which took me forever to colour!  This yummy paper is from Basic Grey...I love it!  I made some lollipop flowers and added some stickles.

OOoooo I had such a fab day yesterday at the SECC and I never spent a pennie over my very limited budget!

Isn't it beautifully packaged!! This is my lovely candy from Krista...the fab artist of the Simply Sassy stamps over at Funkykits...I almost didn't want to open it, it looked so pretty!....but that was only for a second then I was practically tearing it open!

4 lovely sassy stamps....3 packs of gorgeous embellishments....a little compact mirror...a yummy wall plaque that will get pride of place in my cubbie and........

3 beautiful fairies....(.I love them)!...which Jude wants for her room!.... but no way they are all mine. Going to get them framed and they will go up in my dining room I think.    I am also going to use the lovely pink fabric for something too...watch this space!
