Burtonesque Dolls Challenge!...........

OOo I have come across this challenge blog and I just had to join in! The Burtonesque Dolls go check it out there are some fab DT cards! I have used one of my Sugar Nellie stamps as I thought she would fit in perfectly!......the paper I made myself by stamping a couple of my little Stamping Bella skulls......The big black flower is actually brown but I coloured it with my Black Promarker as I have no big black flowers left......the other flowers I made after seeing a tutorial over on SCS a little bit of tulle and another little skull to finish it off!

WOYWDW #50.................

Oooo I am not liking this pic...there's a bit of a build up starting...trying to do too many cards at the same time!lol I have about 10 card orders still to finish before I can clear out my cubby for painting and then fingers crossed we will be heading down to Ikea at the end of the month....Woohooo!!! I cannot wait to get it all sorted and organised..I can barely move in it just now....I actually fell out of my cupboard the other week and landed on my knees on the laminate floor...my left knee is still aching a bit. Now I hear you all asking how the heck did you fall OUT of the cupboard!lol....well my heat gun was plugged into the extension lead which sits to the left of me on the floor and my heat gun was to the right on the desk and I stood up to come out and my foot caught on the cable and down I went!....Lucy thought it was hilarious!

The card on my desk is an order for a woman who is 60...retiring and moving house all to be on the card! There is a finished card on the top right and to the left is a card I have to finish for a challenge blog I found yesterday The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge Blog

Thought I would share my find that I am now using to store all my charms in...it did have beads and wires in it which I wasn't using so I decanted them somewhere else and now my charms are all in the one place instead of dotted about here and there in bags!

Oooo gotta go the postie has just dropped my Lili of the Valley order through the door!!!!!

40th Birthday..............

Another two orders done and dusted!lol These are for a women who is mega into shoes and handbags...I got this fab shoe image over at Sketching Stamper...coloured it with my Promarkers and used my Glossy Accents and seed beads to decorate...the papers are from my scrap box so I can't remember the make {wish I did...if anyone recognises it let me know cos I really want some more!} The dotty effect under the shoe I saw over on Marlene's blog she has a link to a tutorial...I really liked it so gave it a wee go!

I have had these handbag pics forever...I think I got them on ebay!....not the best at cutting...don't do well with fiddly things which is why I never really got into decoupage!lol

Must dash I got another 2 orders today...takes me to 12 more cards to make!

My blog is 1 today!!!

Well here we are a year later and I have made loads of blogbuddies....I spent so long umming and ahhing about whether to start one up or not....I didn't think anyone would be interested in looking at my cards....but I was stuck in a rut and lacking mojo for making cards even to the point when I was gonna give it up {there are no crafty clubs or shops in my neck of the woods :( } so I took the plunge and set it up...and I am so glad I did! My cards have come on in leaps and bounds thanks to all the wonderful inspiration out there in blogland and I wish I could go round you all and thank you but I would be here till next year!....there are soooooo many talented peeps out there! I also want to thank everyone who leaves me comments....it really makes my day to get some feedback on my cards!

I will be having some candy to celebrate but I have to wait till I can get away to my fave craft shop....probably at the end of the month when we go to Ikea to get the stuff for my new look cubby!

Lucy's card......................

Lucy requested a Spongebob card for her birthday..........so I found this image on a kids colouring site...coloured with my Promarkers....the paper is from my scrap box...had just enough! I also made her a little dongle keyring thingy by tracing the image onto shrink plastic {I love that stuff!}
She loved it...got Judes card to do now and she has been through my stash and picked just about everything for her card...lots of pink and sparkle!

I have soooo much catching up to do!......

. My mum has been after a wee dog for a while now to keep her company as she is on her own and my sister arrived on Lucy's birthday with an 18 month old chihuahua for her!! She was over the moon and had tears in her eyes when Linda appeared with him! All he wants to do is sit on your knee and be cuddled! He reminds me of a little Gremlin {remember that movie!}
Anyway I will be on later tonight with my glass of wine and catch up with all my blogging!!
