I can share this now as my BFF has been 40 now for a whole 2 weeks!! Unfortunately we were away on our hols on her actual birthday, but I left all her pressies with her Mum to give to her on the day and I also sent her a big bunch of flowers!
With the help of her Mum for the pics of when she was younger (I did ask her permission to share this on here) and a delve through my photo albums I came up with this book as a special memory to keep for her 40th.......this is what was keeping me so quiet for the last wee while!.....
The cover a used some chipboard numbers...coloured with my PMs and a coating of Crackle Glaze
Page 2.....a wee diecut teddy and some washi tape
Page 3.....some doodles and a wee button
Page 4....flowers and stickers
Page 5.......a rolled flower
Page 6.....more stickers and washi tape...you just have to have the embarrassing school photo's in there
Page 7...oops and the embarrassing 80's
Page 8.....these are a couple of my fave pics of Gail's wedding ...getting ready in the morning, and dancing in the evening...we changed into our trainers for this dance....everyone thought it was hilarious

Page 10....now this is where I started to struggle as I am normally the one behind the camera there aren't many pics of the two of us...this was in my garden last year
Page 11.....My BFF!! this was taken at my wee 40th gathering at my house (the day we got home from the hospital after Jude breaking her arm)
Page 12...the back page I kept really simple with this lovely digi stamp from Papermakeup Stamps
