Busy Busy!.....

Phew...these are the four card orders I finished the other day! Now I have another 2 to do for Monday! And I still have my DT work to finish before I head over to Simply Create next weekend! I am gonna be a busy bee!!

Thank goodness Sky have Free Movies this weekend...that should entertain the girls!lol

My Altered Jewellery Box.....

Well this is the little jewellery box that was in with my DT kit from Simply Create this month and it has been sitting on the shelf in my cupboard while I just sat and stared at it as I didn't have a clue what to do with it!  But then one night inspiration hit and I came up with this

The paper is a 12x12 double sided one from MME Holly Jolly...I have distressed all the edges and inked with Walnut Stain.....added a couple of snowflakes and a button.

I have not really done much altering before and I am really pleased with the results!

I am loving being on this Design Team cos it's really challenging when you are given something that maybe you wouldn't always go for yourself! And it's amazing to see all the different things that all my teamies come up with using the same kits!

Dipping my toe into all things Tim Holtz!

I am truly becoming a fan of everything Tim Holtz!  This is my first go at making a grungy type card....I bought some of the diecuts from ebay just to have a play before I invested in the real thing!

I think I need some more practice! Any hints and tips will be gratefully received!

I was on his blog the other day looking at the blog video from his cruise....it looks amazing!!!!! I want to go on one!

Holly Jolly DT kit......

This is my first make with this months DT kit from Simply Create....Beautiful MME Holly Jolly papers  and a Holly Jolly Stamp Set...some lace and some buttons.

These papers are truly gorgeous and part of me really didn't want to cut them up!

I stamped three reindeer with Versacolor Pinecone and clear embossed.....the edges are inked with Antique Linen and Walnut Stain and then I stamped some little snowflakes round the edge.

The brown ribbon is from my own stash.

I am going to enter this into the challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday which is Anything Goes!

I have a lovely little jewellery box from my kit that I am in the process of altering just now!

Little Peek.....

Been busy playing with my DT kit from Simply Create and will be posting my first card up tomorrow....just thought I would give you a sneeky peek! Lots of lovely papers and stamps from MME.

Not that great a day here today so the girls and I kept the blinds shut and spent the day watching DVDs!

Beautiful Day.............

It's been a gorgeous day here in Fort William so I dragged myself from my cubby and we went off to Eilean Donan Castle for the afternoon! It was great...a few gents dressed in costume and telling everyone about the history of the castle....and as it was quite quiet they let the girls hold some of the cannonballs and showed us some secret rooms! Some lucky people were getting married there later today too!

Living here in the Highlands I don't really stop to take in how beautiful it is...now it is in to Autumn the colours are stunning.......so we were tourists for the day and stopped at a few viewpoints along the way!

Simply Sassy!!!!!

Sore hands or no sore hands I just had to ink up these girls!! She is called "Little Light of Mine" from the Simply Sassy Collection from Funkykits!

They were available for pre-order for a few days and I think they will be released as singles in a couple of weeks. They arrived this morning and I just had to get colouring straight away!

I am off to colour the other five!
