Another fishing card......

I love this LOTV stamp....coloured with my artstix...papers are Rusty Pickle and I have distressed all the edges.  There's that washing tablet bag again!

Head is still a bit sore today...there was quite a lump there last night!lol

80th Birthday.....

Another order done and out the way.......the paper is DCWV....now the flower stamp I have had for a while and I can't remember the make, sorry ...stamped a few times and layered up with some stems doodled on with a fine pen.................the lovely velvet ribbon is from my stash and I have added some black stickles to the numbers.....and some silver corner peel offs which have been gathering dust in my cupboard...I used to use peel offs all the time!

I am typing this while balancing a cold pack on my head.....I was putting the girls paddling pool away in the storage box we keep down the side of the house and the lid fell back down on my head!:0( OOooo it hurts!!

Wedding card...............

I am really happy with how this turned out.......I normally love making wedding cards but I was sat at my desk for ages trying to come up with some inspiration...everything I seemed to try just wasn't sitting right...anyone else get days like that?

So in the end I decided to go for something relatively plain and simple.....the stamp is an old one I think from ebay and I just added some gold liquid pearls..........the flowers I am addicted to making just now...some ribbon cut into circles and you melt the edges over a candle....CAREFULLY! lol  and pin together with a brad.

The sun is shining here again in Fort William that is about 4 days in a row...unheard this summer!lol  Yesterday I spent much of the morning in the garden untangling the clematis which had gone a bit mad all over our big rowan tree up the back of the garden...the poor tree was not looking very happy with the invasion so poor hubby managed to balance on top of the fence (the tree is not quite big enough to climb) and very ungraciously rip the clematis from the tree!lol We managed to save most of it and tied it up to the fence where it was supposed to climbing!

Skateboard Boy........

Another card order.....why is it sooooo hard to embellish boys cards!.....or is it just me!?

This fab image is from Digital Pencil coloured with my Promarkers....the spotty paper is from my scrap box...sentiment printed from my computer and some doodling round the edges.

Short and sweet tonight as I want to get the rest of my orders finished (I am forcing myself off the computer otherwise I will be bloghopping all evening!lol) .....the weather is supposed to be good here again tomorrow so want to get out in the garden and enjoy the sun!

Quick little card today...made with this lovely Stamping Bella image coloured with my artstix. The papers are a freebie MME pad.......numbers covered with glitter....a Craftwork Cards Sentiment and some little tiny Alphabet stickers.

I have a few more card orders to get done over the next few days so will be back soon!

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been walking around all day today with a huge grin on my face!......I have chosen to be on the newly created design team over at Simply Create!! I still can't believe Jacqui picked me! I have never applied for any DTs as I never really think my cards are good enough, but Hubby persuaded me!  I have been a bit down for the last fews days and this has really given me a boost!

Really looking foward to getting to know all my teamies!

WOYWW #65

Here it is....as messy as I can bear!  I was full of good intentions in January and told myself I would make a Christmas card a week and then there would be no mad panic come the end of the year.....mmmmm went to my Christmas box to see how many I had done and lo and behold there were 15 measly cards in there!!!  So I am cracking on with getting as many quick little ones done as I can (I am using all my little scraps), cos I just know that nearer the time I am gonna end up with card orders for special Christmas cards like I did last year and I got myself far too stressed out trying to do them and all my own cards!

Can you spot my new toy?  I finally got my hands on the Tim Holtz Tattered floral Die...now I can actually use my Big Shot that dear Hubby got me for my Christmas!lol

Thought I would throw in a little view (the only view lol) from my cubby...please don't zoom in or you will see an inch of dust on the telly! I will dust one day I promise!
