Allie and her Clarinet, Saturated Canary Digi...

I can share this card now as I have given it to the birthday girl, another gorgeous Saturated Canary Digi Stamp.....I really must dust off my other stamps they are becoming very neglected!lol

This is the lovely Allie and her Clarinet......(the store is closed today as Paypal are doing some maintenance and Krista doesn't want any orders getting messed up)....I have coloured her with a black pencil this time and used some music paper from an old book and also made a rolled flower with the same paper...the stripey paper is the last little scrap from my Gorjuss papers that came with the die-cut kits I bought ages ago.

I am off now to do some more party planning...I wasn't going to bother doing anything but have decided that seeing as it's the big 40!! (Yelp!!) that I would have just a wee party in the house and the girls want to decorate everywhere with " You are 40" bunting!! ( I will get them back when the are older!)  I still can't believe that in 6 days time I will be 40 I don't know where the years have gone!!

Anyway better get off to the shops!!

GJWTHF...

I had to wait to get the two Distress Inks that I needed to finish off this gorgeous project that Kath had us making at the recent "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" day before I could share the pictures with you.....

I had an absolute blast and tried loads of techniques.....loving the decoupaging with the tissue paper on the project above that we did with Kath and the one below with a beautiful rose napkin that we did with Anne.......Oh and it was a tense moment for us all when we were stamping onto our candlesticks, we all held our breaths as each of us gave it a go...I didn't want to mess it up lol!

and then I used alcohol inks for the first time and inking and embossing at the same time!.. with Debbi! Love this notebook!  and I want to buy all these stamps that I used they are all gorgeous!

Saturated Canary #15...April Showers

Here we go with Challenge Number 14  at Saturated Canary Challenges and this fortnight it is

“April Showers”

The usual rules apply you must use either a Saturated Canary Digi Stamp OR a Simply Sassy Rubber Stamp

Can you see my washi tape?   I have just received my first ever lot of washi tape and I want to put it on everything!lol
I have coloured her with my promarkers....stoopid here didn't write them down sorry!  I have also done a wee cloudy background with my Distress Ink.....the lace is from my stash and I have added a little paper clip with a wee charm.  You can't really see in the photo but I have added some glossy accents to the raindrops and a wee puddle under her feet.

Divas by Design...............

Smashed again!.........

 Ooo these pics aren't that great sorry!   Managed to squeeze in a little bit of time in my cupboard today to get these pages finished!  I am soooo happy with how they have turned out......I really want to go and see Wicked...I am hoping that they will bring it up to Edinburgh!

I have also had a wee go at making my own washi tape as I don't own any!  I have used micropore tape and just coloured it and stamped onto it!

I wanted Glinda to look like she was in a bubble so cut a circle out of vellum and stuck it over her

Designed to Color.......

I have just realised that I never actually posted this card here!!

I was over the moon when Carisa asked me to send her a card to feature in the very first issue of Designed to Color........I have used the gorgeous Alice from Saturated Canary, coloured with my Promarkers. The paper is from Raspberry Road Designs Glory Days collection.

Keep your eyes peeled as the next issue is out in a couple of days!!

I would also like to apologise for my lack of posting.....I promise to sort it out!! I have my 40th in a couple of weeks, I wasn't going to bother doing anything as I just wasn't fussed and my dear old Dad would have been 70 today too, but then I thought no I am going to hit 40 with a bang so I have been busy planning a wee party, nothing big just a few friends and family round at the house!  So I have been spending ages on pinterest looking for ideas!! Hence my lack of blogging!lol
