WOYWW....and a confession..............

Before I show you all my desk I would like to make a confession................I am truly ashamed of myself..............It's my lovely Hubbies birthday today and I went out to the shops and bought (urgh I hear you all gasp!) him his card cos I was totally lacking my mojo and just couldn't think what to put on a card for him.....he doesn't do soppy or cute...so I picked him up a Homer Simpson one!...there now that is off my chest below you will find a pic of my desk this morning!

I have an order for a card for a wee girl who is gonna be six and she loves everything sparkly and pink...hence everything pink out on my desk!

Up on the top right you will see my sneeks from Ikea! Please don't tell I did have my breakfast and lunch in there when I was down on Saturday (got loads of good stuff for my new look cupboard!)..............I use the little pots they have in the restaurant when the girls or myself are glueing and their little stirrers always come in useful too!

Also here is the card now finished that was on my desk last week!

Get yourselves over to Julia's blog and join in the fun!!

Nice green card. I bet hubby wasn't bothered either way was he!!! Mine wouldn't be - but my kids demand a handmade card.

  16. Ah yes..are you training your family to 'sneak' stuf for you without the need for you to actually be there? It seems to happen! You know what, I'd buy him a card too - some mojo battles are just not worth the fight!
Your cards are amazing, I am so attracted to the order of your cupboard!

  17. Loved having a peep at your pink things! You asked on my blog about my clear stacking trays for 12 x 12 papers - I originally got them from Artymiss which has since been taken over by Craft Barn, but I can't see them there now, neither can I find any others - if you find some, I'd love to know because I wouldn't mind some more of them x

  20. I love the paper you have on your desk and the image and all the pink pens. As for buying your hubby's card when your mojo is gone your mojo is gone and there is no point making something you are not happy with so I say good on you! Tracey x

  21. Can't believe you bought a card for your OH-but as it was a male card i can understand it wouldn't be easy to knock one up quickly (not if you are like most of us and prefer to work with girly things). Love all the pink bits on the desk, that is going to be a lovely card for her.

  31. I feel so guilty when ...on some rare occaisions ...I buy a card. I would rather buy than make a rubbish card when Mojo goes on a break.

I haven't been to IKEA for years and I so want to go but I dont drive and it is so difficult and long winded to get there from here. I wonder what you will create for the little girl ...maybe we will see it next week.

  32. If men weren't so bloody hard to make for we wouldn't have to go and buy them something would we!!! So it's all their fault really, not yours! How long until the makeover starts?

  34. Good to see a card that has been finished - it exonerates you re the Homer thing! Not that you need to be, you are both consenting adults...thanks for the visit - seeing each other's spaces is really helping my own mojo! And it's only week one or me!

  43. You sound like me. When I get near a Starbuck's I want their stirrer sticks. I never thought about getting little plastic pots. Since I'm not a card maker, I would have bought the card, too. You sure like pink!! I can see why you bought a card.

Sorry I'm so late getting here. Hope you had a lovely WOYWW.
