The clocks have changed so that makes it officially Spring does it not?! Then why is there fresh snow on them there hills!!
I really need some sunny weather...so my make today for the Saturated Canary Blog is all summery and sunny feeling!
This is Cali Girl and you can find her here......she is an older image that I have had coloured in for a while now.....I have quite a few coloured images sitting that I really need to start getting onto cards!
Today the Saturated Canaries are starting our next image showcase challenge over on our Saturated Canary Facebook page. We wanted something with a bit of fun for this challenge! And its a super duper one this time! we just want to see where your creativity takes you so its...
Anything Goes with Flower Power!.
You can make any creation you like be it card, scrap page, an altered something, smash book/journal page etc...just let your creativity go! The prize, as always, will be 2 digital images of your choice from the shop and the rules are super simple too.. * you can enter ONLY ONCE. ( this makes it fair for everyone ) * you can enter with any NEW and FINISHED creation but...IT MUST BE HANDCRAFTED. (digital colouring of Krista's images is not permitted in accordance to TOU's)
I have used the gorgeous Emma for my card today....coloured with my Copics and the distressed and inked with Walnut Stain....the super yummy papers are Sweet Paris from Dovecraft.
I knew I was going to love this co-ordinating stamp and die set from MFT . when it arrived in my DT package from DTDF.....you can find the stamp set here and the die set here....there are a tonne of different sentiments in the set!
The paper I used is from a Teresa Collins gorgeous 6x6 pad you can find here...truly strokable papers!
I was also a bit naughty and ordered myself a few wee payday treats....I have found soooooo many amazing sellers on FB and Instagram....I want to buy so much!
Anyway here are a couple of things that were waiting for me when I got home from work today..
The beautiful print is from Peppermint Art you can find her FB page here
and the scrumptious wee cloud is from Purkilicious whose FB page you can find here
I also got this gorgeous dreamcatcher from Vintage Pretties....she makes them from vintage doilies and each one is so pretty! You can find her FB page here
I am going to have to wait until next payday before I get anything else!
This technique is great for making batches of cards....I like to make little sets of thank you cards for selling at craft fairs...
All you need is a stamp block, Distress Inks.......stamp chosen colours directly onto the stamp block spritz with water and then press the block onto the cardstock....easy peasy! then you can stamp your sentiment once the ink has dried!
